Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager on the look out for a new challenging role?
If you have experience of vendor development, logistics and inventory control this could the role you are looking for!!!
Office Angels are currently recruiting for our client in Angus for a permanent Supply Chain Manager. Working within a global organisation who are highly successful in their field, this role is not to be missed.
Your role will involve:
*Overseeing materials/component purchasing and logistical functions
*Collaborating and supporting the buyers/planners on identifying, evaluating and developing supplier sources to strengthen the supplier base
*Optimisation of all warehousing activities to result in accurate and efficient component transactions
*Identify opportunities for improving the cost effectiveness of all procurement and logistical activities
*Identify sourcing risks and implement mitigating strategies to resolve supplier issues
*Assist the buyers/planners with the supplier cost reduction programs and LCC sourcing
To be considered for this role you will have:
*Bachelor's degree is required preferably in supply chain management, procurement or related field as is substantial experience in supply chain
*Excellent organisational and communication skills
*Application of Lean principles in performing tasks
*Strong analytical skills
*Excellent computer applications skills and also SAP are essential
